FIXIF Crate-Series
Coolers for Road Trips
Fits the boot. Feeds the route. Skips the service-station prices.
A road trip cooler is judged on three things: how well it fits the boot, how easily you can reach lunch without unpacking the car, and how many days of ice it gives you between stops. FIXIF crates mount flat in the boot, open from the top and hold 4–6 days of cold.
Recommended
Pack the boot once
The magnetic base plate holds the crate against braking and cornering, so it does not slide into the luggage. Load it last, open the tailgate, lift the lid — lunch is at the top, not under three bags.
The Divider & Cut Board turns the lid area into a prep surface at the rest stop and keeps raw food separated in transit.
Ice strategy between stops
Pre-chill the crate the night before, pack pre-cooled food and use block ice or a frozen 5 L bottle. Two parts ice to one part contents. Do not drain the meltwater until the crate is half empty — 0 °C water keeps cold better than warm air.

Questions
Do I need to bolt the base plate into the car?
No. Many owners use 3M VHB tape on a boot liner or a loose plate under the crate. Bolting is an option for permanent overland builds.
Can I use it as a seat at the rest stop?
Yes — the FIXSEAT™ lid is engineered to seat height and load across the range.
